This all-new premium mid-size SUV is infused with the iconic automaker’s state-of-the-art technology, race-inspired performance and Italian style.

“The all-new Stelvio, named after one of the greatest driving roads in the world – the Stelvio Pass in the Italian Alps – sets a new benchmark for the segment,” said Reid Bigland, Head of Alfa Romeo. “Stelvio is uniquely engineered to challenge two-door sports cars on the track, without sacrificing any of the characteristics you would expect from a premium SUV, resulting in the perfect mix of high performance, capability and Italian design.”

Leading the way is the top-of-the-line Stelvio Quadrifoglio, which is powered by Alfa Romeo’s most powerful production engine ever. This all-aluminum V-6 engine provides a best-in-class 505 horsepower, powering the SUV from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 177 mph.

The Stelvio and Stelvio Ti models feature an all-new, all-aluminum, 2.0-liter, direct-injection turbo engine that delivers a class-leading, standard 280 horsepower and 306 lb.-ft. of torque, allowing it to achieve a top speed of 144 mph.

In addition to providing class-leading power and speed, the Stelvio also features Alfa Romeo’s innovative Q4 all-wheel-drive (AWD) system that provides additional driving confidence and superior control.

Stelvio also offers innovative safety and security features, including Full-speed Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Warning.

While the Stelvio offers cutting-edge technology and engineering, there is also a number of options for owners to customize their performance SUV with up to 13 exterior colors; seven wheel choices, ranging from 18 inches to 21 inches; and an almost endless selection of interior color and trim choices.

“Where other SUVs stop at utility, Alfa Romeo took on the challenge to create the perfect mix of high performance, capability and design,” the company stated.

Hello from the Motor City! I’m Edward Cardenas and I’m multimedia editor for Stellantis. As a lifelong Detroiter, I have been surrounded by the automotive industry. I’ve had members of my immediate and extended family work in the industry. I’ve covered it as a journalist and advocated for it as a communications professional. I have also experienced the thrills of the industry while riding in a race car at nearly 200 miles per hour. Having this breadth of experience, I look forward to drawing upon my experiences to bring a wide range of stories, photos and videos about Chrysler, FIAT and Alfa Romeo to Stellantis Digital Media. When I’m not covering my brands, I’m spending time with my wife and two boys.
