Hispanic Market Making Big Impact in U.S.

Hispanic Heritage Month is observed each year in the United States from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 to pay tribute to the history, culture and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Chrysler Group has developed a video series about the impact of today’s Hispanic market in the U.S.

As an example of the impact, did you know that more than half of the U.S. population growth since the previous census has been from the Latino community? That’s according to our Head of Multicultural Advertising Juan Torres.

In the first installment of the series (embedded below), Torres shares his views on the growing influence of Hispanic consumers in the U.S. He discusses the promising future of the multicultural market, largely made up of Hispanic consumers, and also how to best interact with this demographic, particularly Millennials.

You also can watch a similar discussion by Torres in Spanish.

Throughout the rest of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’ll continue the series with videos that talk about the growing Hispanic community, including interviews with employees and community influencers.
