It’s not easy to take in the vast history of performance and design milestones associated with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, Mopar and other brands in the FCA heritage all in one spot.
You can do it this weekend in southern Pennsylvania at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, where more than 2,700 vehicles will roll into the Carlisle Showfield.
“Carlisle is one event that every Mopar fan must attend at least once,” says Brandt Rosenbusch, manager of historical vehicles for FCA US. “This is an incredible gathering of Mopar-related vehicles that spans every era, including our current performance cars. Every time I’ve been there, I’m amazed at the passion and enthusiasm that our collectors out there have for our products.”
But Carlisle is more than just a car show. There’s a swap meet, which is a treasure trove of parts for restoration projects. Vendors, including the Mopar trailer, for those looking for modern parts and souvenirs. Panel presentations with experts in the restoration process. And the ever-popular thrill rides with Dodge Challenger SRT and Charger SRT Hellcats.
This year’s event includes displays that celebrate the 50-year anniversary of the 1969 Dodge Charger 500 and Charger Daytona; the 50-year anniversary of the A12 Plymouth Road Runner and Dodge Super Bee factory street racers (with their lift-off hoods); and 50 years of the M-Code A-Bodies, high-performance Dodge Darts and Plymouth Barracudas with the 440-cubic-inch V-8.

The current forecast calls for great car show weather – sunny and warm. So get to Carlisle to take in all the great cars and history, enjoy the food, and leave with a commemorative shirt.
